Women Empowerment

Why Women Empowerment

Women empowerment is key to social and economic progress. It reduces gender inequality, improves family well-being, and boosts economic growth. Empowered women make better decisions, gain control over their health and finances, and contribute to stronger communities. Their involvement in leadership and income-generating activities drives sustainable development and creates a more equitable society.

What we do

GVST empowers women through awareness programs in financial literacy, health, legal rights, and leadership within Self-Help Groups (SHGs). These initiatives build confidence and encourage leadership roles in communities. The trust also supports livelihoods by promoting entrepreneurship, providing microfinance, and offering training in financial management. Additionally, GVST helps widows through income generation activities like livestock rearing, handicrafts, and small businesses, fostering financial stability and self-reliance.
